Freight Policy
Effective immediately, all freight shipments are required to be scheduled by contacting our office at (907) 600 - 5333 no less than 24 hours prior to the intended departure time.
In compliance with United States Coast Guard regulations, the transportation of any type of marijuana via the Haines Skagway Fast Ferry is prohibited
To ensure seamless handling, all packages and shipments must bear clearly labeled sender and receiver details, including addresses and contact numbers.
Senders must load shipments onto vessel after receiving the go ahead from the dock rep. The Haines Skagway Fast Ferry and Chilkoot Indian Association representatives are not responsible for loading shipments.
Prior to loading, payment for freight services must be settled in full via credit card.
A standard charge of $15 per item will be applied for each item loaded onto the vessel. If freight is not picked up upon docking there will be a $15 late fee charged.
